Does Turespazo replace police reporting in Galicia?
SES Hospedajes is the Ministry of the Interior platform managed by the State Secretariat for Security. Police reports go to SES Hospedajes or the applicable territorial system, such as Mossos d’Esquadra or Ertzaintza. The Turespazo integration handles tourism reporting in Galicia separately from police reporting.
When are bookings and traveler reports submitted?
The booking is reported. The traveler report, containing the data of every guest, is submitted on the check-in day. Completing or signing the form before arrival prepares the report for that day.
What if my accommodation does not have a good Internet connection?
The ideal solution is pre-check-in. You send the link via WhatsApp or email to the client days before. They complete everything at home with a good connection. When they arrive, you have the forms ready and the system performs the official submission.
Is it mandatory to register guests in a rural cottage?
Data for every guest must be collected and reported. Professional accommodation providers must maintain an electronic register and keep the data for three years after the stay ends. Non-professional providers are exempt from that registration and retention requirement, but must still report the data.
Is it suitable for rural tourism clients who are not tech-savvy?
Totally. The form is designed with large letters, simple explanations in their own language and camera scanning, making it easy for anyone to complete without help.
How are the official registration books generated?
Data for every guest must be collected and reported. Professional accommodation providers must maintain an electronic register and keep the data for three years after the stay ends. Non-professional providers are exempt from that registration and retention requirement, but must still report the data.
Does it connect with my Airbnb, Booking, or current software calendars?
Yes, we import bookings automatically by syncing your accounts or iCal calendars from major rural tourism platforms.
Do I have to travel to the rural cottage just to register guests?
No. Thanks to the remote online check-in of Guest Registration Software, guests sign and perform legal validations before entering, allowing you to manage check-in without traveling.
What data is required by the Police or SES Hospedajes in rural areas?
Collect the traveler and booking or contract data required by Annex I: identity, nationality, date of birth, residence and contact details, relationship when minors are present, dates and relevant transaction and payment details. The document support number is collected where applicable; the document issue date is not required by that annex.
